About Course

This workshop re-introduces Singapore’s public spaces, such as void decks and playgrounds, as art learning avenues for creative arts curriculum in preschools. Learners will discover inherent art elements in these spaces, as well as different art-making and everyday mediums. They will also gain knowledge of art elements and the principles of design, so as to better interpret and understand the potential for public spaces to be used as part of a child’s learning.

Note: Exploring Art in Singapore Spaces for Early Childhood Educators will be conducted face-to-face as the topic requires in-person training. This is subject to prevailing COVID-19 measures implemented by the government. The intakes may be rescheduled to a time when face-to-face learning is possible, and students will be notified at least 1 week prior to the commencement of these intakes.
