About Course

This introductory course demonstrates the influence of motor development and its impact on learning and behaviours. Increasing scientific evidence shows that physical activities and improved motor skills influence emotional regulation, behaviour and the academics.

This workshop provides learners with an understanding of children from the Neuromotor perspective. They will develop an awareness of the effects of attention, balance and coordination on children’s behaviour and readiness for learning and participation in a group setting.

Note: Move to Learn: Strategies for Managing Children’s Behaviour and Learning in Classroom will be conducted face-to-face as the topic requires in-person training. This is subject to prevailing COVID-19 measures implemented by the government. The intakes may be rescheduled to a time when face-to-face learning is possible, and students will be notified at least 1 week prior to the commencement of these intakes.
