About Course

This module equips participants with the principles of early childhood screening and assessment as well as skills and dispositions required to gather information from stakeholders (for example, teachers and families) and work with specialist professionals for the purpose of intervention planning.

Participants will be introduced to the ecological congruence assessment, method for collecting information, the goals of screening and assessment, principles of reporting and factors to consider in the assessment process. A 5-hour observational study will be included.



Entry Requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) or acceptable equivalent; AND

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of trained teaching experience.

Upon Graduation

Upon successful completion of the modular course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Before You Apply

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) or acceptable equivalent (Certificate and transcripts)

  • Employment letter (dated recent 3 months) for us to understand your current designation

  • Employment letters after obtaining Diploma in Early Childhood to prove two years trained teaching experience

  • LON

  • Company sponsorship letter (for those under company sponsorship)

  • Image of your NRIC (front and back)

  • Recent digital photo with a white background
