Personal Mastery: Learning as Self-Leadership
About Course
Leadership starts with learning about yourself. In this course, educators will be focusing on self-awareness to changing their mental models and assumptions by developing strategies to articulate personal growth through principles of purpose, vision, belief, commitment and knowing oneself. The course will be conducted through various art forms and cover relevant theories to understand human psychological needs for self-growth and learning.
Note: This course will be conducted via online learning.
At the end of the course, educators will be able to:
- discover one’s beliefs, values and attitude;
- examine how childhood attachment and the past affects an individual;
- assess and decide personal virtues and weaknesses; and
- navigate the creative tension between one’s vision and current reality
Upon completion of the course, you will be awarded a Certificate of Attainment from the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).

Entry Requirements
This course is for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Be ECDA-certified as an L2 teacher.
- Currently employed in a childcare centre registered or licensed with ECDA.
