Observation and Planning for the Holistic Development of Infants and Toddlers

Observation and Planning for the Holistic Development of Infants and Toddlers

About Course

In this course, learners will focus on the observation of children from birth to 36 months to understand their development, interests, needs and abilities. With the information documented, they will learn to share with parents as well as plan purposeful experiences to support children’s physical, cognitive, social and emotional development and develop their sense of agency.

The course will also include reflections on documentations, planning and examining their role in individualising, adapting and monitoring the effectiveness of the intentional experiences to cater to the specific needs of the individual children, in collaboration with parents to support children’s development and learning.
