Integrating Inclusive Strategies Across Daily Activities

Integrating Inclusive Strategies Across Daily Activities

About Course

This course was formerly known as “Embedding Strategies Across Daily Activities for Successful Inclusive Practice”.

Integrating Inclusive Strategies Across Daily Activities is part of the Inclusive Practice Series, where existing educators can gain skills to better support children with learning or developmental needs.

This course focuses on providing support for children with learning and developmental needs by embedding strategies within the daily activities in the regular preschool classrooms. In Singapore’s context, these children are those who attend both the early intervention and early childhood programmes.

Early childhood educators will be introduced to curriculum modification as an intervention strategy and child-focused instructional strategies as critical tools towards embedding learning opportunities for children with additional needs. The course also considers practical recommendations to help track intervention that has been offered and ways to monitor progress to maximise intervention outcomes for this group of children.

Note: This course will be conducted via online learning.
