About Course
Leadership Booster is designed for experienced centre leaders looking to strengthen their core competencies, as outlined in the Leadership Development Framework.
This interactive and engaging course introduces participants to a range of management tools that support key leadership skills, including inclusivity, communication, decision-making, and talent development. A key feature of the programme is a curated learning journey to a non-early childhood organisation, offering fresh perspectives and best practices in management.
Led by experienced facilitators, Leadership Booster goes beyond theory, focusing on practical application and personal growth. Participants will be encouraged to refine their leadership identity, challenge existing mindsets, and connect with a like-minded community of leadership practitioners.
Note: This course will be conducted face-to-face.

At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Develop greater self-awareness and embrace reflection as a continual part of leadership growth.
- Apply management tools to enhance their leadership practice.
- Strengthen their leadership identity and understanding of effective leadership in the early childhood sector.
- Build a supportive leadership community and foster meaningful professional relationships.
Upon completion of the course, you will be awarded a Certificate of Attainment from the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
Eligible participants will receive a subsidy from ECDA.
Entry Requirements
This course is for centre leaders who meet the following criteria:
- have completed an ECDA-recognised certificate or diploma in early childhood care and education;
- be ECDA-certified as an L2 teacher;
- have at least three (3) years of experience as a centre leader*; and
- currently employed in a childcare centre registered or licensed with ECDA.
*Preference will be given to those with at least eight (8) years of experience as a centre leader.
