Dr Eunice Say Mei Ping holds a Doctorate of Philosophy, a Master’s degree in Education (Early Childhood Education) from Monash University and a Master’s degree in Commerce (Marketing), and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Management & Marketing) from University of Wollongong. With 15 years of experience in the education sector as a Level Head and Senior Teacher, she specialises in Child Development, Practicum and Internship, Community Partnership, and Capstone Project. She is an awardee of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Teaching Awards in 2017 and 2024; Teaching Award for Special Home-Based Learning Academic Award for Teaching and Learning Innovation in 2020/2021. Eunice has made valuable contributions through her research findings on localised kindergarten quality perspectives and her two recent mini projects to improve students’ holistic development and mentoring programmes.
Eunice was part of the team to promote a research series at NIEC. She contributed her experience in the topic ‘How to begin the submission process’. Eunice also shared in NIEC Learning Festivals on the topic of ‘Peer-to-peer interactions to improve students’ problem-solving skills’ and as co-presenter on the analysis of ‘the effectiveness of the mentoring program for PET students at NIEC’. Currently. Eunice is actively involved in developing learning circles at NIEC-Ngee Ann Campus purpose at raising the academic quality of the teaching team.
