Dr Lin An-Chi  林安琪博士

Dr. Lin An-Chi, Senior Lecturer at NIEC, holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialisation in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University in the United States. She has a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from National Taipei Teachers College in Taipei, Taiwan. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on ‘Young Children’s Perception of Power Dynamics in a Preschool Classroom,’ and it is based on a case study in Taiwan. Dr. Lin has had professional positions in Taiwan, US, and Singapore as a teacher, academic director, and faculty member.  

Dr. Lin’s research interests include Young children’s development and learning, Language development, Social and emotional development, Play education, and Parenting education. Dr Lin contributes to journal reviews and develops the Course Learner’s Guide for Degree Program of Early Childhood and Chinese Language Education, Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS). She has participated at the local and international conferences as a moderator and presenter. 

Dr. Lin serves as a working committee of ECDA Early Years Mother Tongue Resources, as well as a judge for the Preschool Chinese Language Storytelling Aids Competition and Outstanding Pre-school Mother Tongue Teacher Award. 

Dr. Lin is passionate about working for young children; she hopes to empower pre-service and in-service teachers to become proactive early childhood educators. 

林安琪博士是国立幼儿培育教育学院资深讲师,美国亚利桑那州立大学课程与教学哲学博士学位,主修幼儿教育;美国亚利桑那州立大学课程与教学硕士学位,以及台湾国立台北师范学院幼儿教育学士学位。她的博士论文重点关注 “Young Children’s Perceptions of Power Dynamics in the Preschool Classroom: A Case Study in Taiwan”。林博士曾在台湾、美国和新加坡等地教授幼儿教育课程,亦曾担任幼儿园教师及课程主任等职位。 

林博士的研究兴趣包括幼儿发展和学习、语言发展、社会和情感发展、游戏教育和育儿教育。她为期刊评论撰稿,并为新加坡新跃社科大学(SUSS)学前华文教育学士学位课程编写课程;亦参与本地及国际研讨会发表研究成果。 

林博士为幼儿培育署 (ECDA) 幼儿母语资源工作委员会的成员,亦多次担任学前华文教师故事教具比赛及杰出学前母语教师奖评审。她关注、热爱幼儿,希望激发家长及幼教老师们为幼儿提供愉快的学习经验。
