Dr Yong Foong Ling holds a PhD in Education from Deakin University, a Master of Education (Early Childhood) from Nanyang Technological University, and a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education with Honours) from the University of South Australia.
With over 30 years of experience in early childhood care and education, she specialises in infant and toddler care, primary caregiving, curriculum development, and educator mentoring and development. She has presented her research at several PECERA conferences and published studies on primary caregiving and early childhood teacher professionalism. She also contributed the ECDA Beanstalk article, “Does Your Preschooler Need to Know How to Add and Subtract?”
