Mr Terence Lin Qingjiang

Mr Terence Lin Qingjiang holds a Master’s degree in Education (Art) from the Nanyang Technological University, and a Bachelor 2nd Class (Upper) Honours degree in Fine Art: Painting and Drawing from the University of Huddersfield. He specialises in Visual Arts, Artistic Development of Children and Art Learning Journey in the Community. He has exhibited his works widely in local and international art exhibitions. In addition, he participated in the art residency of Asian Artist Fellowship programme, organised by National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (2007). He is a recipient of the Juror’s Choice for Philip Morris ASEAN Art Awards (2004 and 2003). In 2024, he was a panellist at the in Dialogue with Reggio Emilia: Children’s Languages through Mosaic of Marks, Words, Materials conference, organised by REACH Singapore. He is the curriculum developer for NIEC (TP)’s Visual Arts Track electives. 

A firm believer of bringing arts to the community, Mr Terence has curated exhibitions of visual arts track student’s artistic works within NIEC (TP) campus in 2022 and at Singapore Management University in 2023. He is also the recipient of Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Humanities & Social Sciences Teaching Award for 2024. Currently, Mr Terence is NIEC (TP)’s Coordinator for Visual Arts Track that comprises a suite of art/design focused electives such as 2D & 3D Art, Digital & New Media, Book Illustration & Design for Children for the Diploma in Early Childhood Development & Education.
