Ms Corinne Madelyn Fan Wai Foong possesses a Master’s degree in Education (Early Childhood) and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Chinese Language) from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. Her professional background encompasses teaching, curriculum design, and leadership in Chinese language education. Corinne presented her Lesson Study Project at the World Association of Lesson Study in Exeter, United Kingdom in 2016. She has also shared in different events such as the 6th International Conference on Teaching and Learning of Chinese as a Second Language in 2022.
Her contributions have been recognized through several awards, including the MOE Innergy Gold Award in 2016 and the PS21 Excel Award (Merit) in 2016 for her innovative creation of a Hanyu Pinyin Cards Game. Additionally, she received the Gold Excellence Award for Public Service in 2014 and Silver Excellence Award for Public Service in 2013. Corinne has been a member of panel of judges for the Outstanding Preschool Mother Tongue Language (OPMTL) Teacher Award in both 2023 and 2024 organized by MOE CPCLL.
