Ms Esther Chen Yun Xin, a Lecturer at NIEC (TP), holds a Master’s Degree in Education (Early Childhood) from the National Institute of Education, Singapore, a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with Management from SUSS, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. With over 13 years of teaching and leadership experience, Esther believes in creating a developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive intentional program to enhance student learning at NIEC. Her areas of specialisation include Mentoring, ACEY, Motor Skills Development and Language and Literacy. Esther has been instrumental in piolting the STEMIE (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Invention and Entrepreneurship) Curriculum for PCF centres, served as a judge at 2021/2022 Pratt & Whitney Singapore Invention Convention, and moderated PCF workshops. She has received a 10-year long service award and achieved three times SPARK accrediation for the centres.
