Ms Melissa Leong Peiwen, NIEC (ITE) Lecturer, is passionate about early childhood education. With a Master’s in Education and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, she utilizes Theraplay principles and Six Bricks methodologies to create engaging classrooms. An ITE Commendation Award recipient, Melissa strives to foster a caring and supportive learning culture for all learners. Committed to developing future leaders, she also serves as a trainer for the ADECL Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership course. Melissa has presented workshops on emotional resilience and values development with NIEC. As a mother of two, Melissa values self-care through exercising and immersing in nature, and is committed to continuous growth and building authentic connections with those around her.
