Ms Lin Yanyan, holds a Master’s degree of Arts in Early Years Education from the Institute of Education, University College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies and Leadership from Wheelock College. Her area of specialisation is in Motor Skills Development (MSDV), and her teaching in this subject has resulted in awards such as NP School Teaching Award 2019/2020 and Teaching Award – Special HBL (Home-Based Learning) Academic Award for T&L (Teaching and Learning) Innovation, 2020/2021. Ms Yanyan has also presented at the Community of Partnership (COP) for e-learning in 2020, as well as HMS Community of Best Practices for enhancing OAL>IPL in 2023. She was also a key workgroup member of the updated Fun Start Move Smart Guide, consulting with SportSG in 2022/2023.
She is also the Functional Head for Outreach, representing NIEC at events such as WorldSkills Singapore 2023, conducts outreach talks and careers fairs, while also leading learning journeys such as hosting MOE ECG Counsellors in 2023/2024.
