Ms Marie Angelie Malagapo holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Adelaide, and a Master’s degree in Education major in Early Childhood Education from Cebu Technological University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Cebu Normal University. Prior to lecturing, Marie has devoted over 20 years in service as a Centre Manager and Cluster Principal in private childcare where she led a team of principals for smooth Centre operations and seamless execution of the curriculum. This has enriched her professional expertise in preschool curriculum and centre operations. She was awarded the Gold Award for Professional Diploma and Winner Award for Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). Ms Marie has contributed to the research area of early childhood with her papers, “Purposeful Play: Perspectives and Practices of Kindergarten and Child Care Teachers” and conducted a workshop at ECDA Conference 2018 on “Powerful Interaction”.
