Ms Sakinah Jumahat holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Practitioner) and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with Management from Singapore University of Social Sciences. She has a decade of experience with varied teaching experiences in childcares, kindergartens and partaking the role of a Curriculum Design Specialist. Ms Sakinah conducts training for teachers to deepen their understanding of the NEL framework and curriculum implementation. She serves as a moderator at the Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC). She specialises in the areas of Curriculum and Pedagogy and Outdoor Learning. She has received the Ministry of Education Kindergarten Outstanding Contribution (Team Award) in 2015, Star Learner’s Inspiring Hero with Creativity award in 2019 and Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Teaching Award (Commendation) in 2022.
