Ms Sujatha Pragatheeswaran

Ms Sujatha Pragatheeswaran holds a Master’s degree in Education from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching and Leadership, and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. With over 19 years of experience in teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development, she has made significant contributions to Tamil language and ICT in preschool education. Commissioned by the Ministry of Education, she translated four local storybooks into Tamil, enriching early childhood literature. She was instrumental in securing the ECDA Innovation Project Award for her centre and has led impactful professional development initiatives, including PlayMaker workshops with Temasek Polytechnic. Additionally, she has conducted CPD workshops and Naptime Webinars at NIEC, sharing her expertise with educators. A speaker at the 2024 NIEC Conference, she emphasized the value of harnessing traditional games in teaching. Passionate about innovation, she specializes in integrating technology-based toys and animation into early childhood learning and is currently exploring new educational tools to enhance teaching modules.
