The article features two of our students, Ms Nur Rosleena Muhammad Roslee and Ms G. Darshini, who received Commendation awards at the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) Scholarship and Training Awards presentation 2024. The ECDA Commendation Award is given to Training Award recipients for exemplary achievements during their studies.

Minister for Social and Family Development Mr Masagos Zulkifli also shared about an updated Early Years Development Framework (EYDF) Educator’s Guide that will be launched in early 2025, alongside other quality teaching tools to support early childhood educators. A new pedagogical method to help early childhood educators review and improve their teaching practices will also be launched by ECDA in the second half of 2025. The Quality Teaching Tool (QTT), designed in collaboration with the Centre for Research in Child Development at the National Institute of Education (NIE), is a guideline on how to deliver effectively – aiming to guide educators to become more proficient in their teaching practice.
