[NEW] Leadership Series: Building a Supportive Learning Culture (BSLC)

[NEW] Leadership Series: Building a Supportive Learning Culture (BSLC)

About Course

This two-part course will bring leaders through a journey of self-reflection, meaning making, and knowledge and skills building.  Leaders need to complete both parts to have deep understanding of culture building. As the two parts are linked, participants need to complete Part 1 before proceeding to Part 2.

  • Part 1 focuses on the leader’s personal journey and ‘inner work’, i.e., clarifying the leader’s own values, mission and vision (VMV), examining congruency of the values, mission and vision, establishing the gaps between one’s espoused VMV and VMV-in-action, and assumptions, and mindsets.
  • Part 2 builds upon the personal journey and expands into what leaders can do to build a learning culture. The different components of culture will be examined, and topics such as fostering a shared vision, building trust and teamwork will be discussed. Participants will also develop a plan for fostering a learning culture at their own centres.

Note: This course will be conducted face-to-face.
