[NEW] Transition Matters: Supporting School Readiness for Diverse Learners

[NEW] Transition Matters: Supporting School Readiness for Diverse Learners

About Course

This course equips educators with practical knowledge and strategies to support children in making a smooth, confident and positive shift from preschool to Primary One. Learners will explore the key elements of transition planning aligned with Singapore’s early childhood education framework, including the social-emotional, physical and academic aspects of school readiness. Through interactive discussions and case examples, the course highlights how preschools, parents, and primary schools can collaborate to build continuity in learning and care. By the end of this course, learners will be able to apply practical knowledge and strategies, design and implement effective transition programmes that nurture children’s independence, confidence, and adaptability in their new learning environment.

Note: This course will be conducted in-person.
